Cabins have been a favorite of mine since my first ski trip as a child. There is just something so cool about being in a little wood house in the middle of the woods. Whether you’re planning to ski, swim, hike, or fish, the cabin rental is the cherry on top of any vacation trip. State parks like Black Rock and Lake Waramaug offer standard cabins for your stay, but these beauties are a lot more comfortable.

I can’t wait for camping season to begin! But I’ll need it to be at least 80 degrees first. On the other hand, this spring weather would be great for a cabin weekend of cuddling by the fire. Are you feeling like a cabin trip is in your future?
