- Alberta Arts District

Last Thursdays, a monthly event that takes place from 15th through 30th Avenues highlights artists, musicians and performers and is one of the largest art events in the city. Any other time, there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars to keep you busy on this lively stretch of street.
- NE Mississippi Street
Dr Burtoni / Flickr Similar in quirkiness to Alberta, Mississippi Street is a destination of walkability. Situated in the Boise neighborhood, there are shops galore, and if you walk a little further, Vancouver and Williams offer plenty of hip boutiques and breweries to peruse.

- E Burnside

But both sides of the street have a growing number of restaurants and boutiques, including Cuddle Up To Me, the shop where you can pay for some platonic cuddling on your walkabout.
