Honestly, it was pretty difficult to narrow my previous list down to only 20 Charming Towns here in Washington, because we have way too many to choose from. I also did a list of small communities where you can find some Great Restaurants, but it was still so impossible to limit both of these posts that there just had to be one more sequel. So, here are 10 MORE enchanting small towns & cities around the state you’ve got to visit:
- Roslyn

- Carlsborg
Flickr / tensory With under a thousand residents, this place also in Clallam County is the perfect escape for those seeking quiet countryside living. The area is known for having a couple of gas stations at the only traffic light on Highway 101 between Port Angeles & Sequim.
- Millwood
Flickr / markdavis About 1,700+ people happily reside in this Spokane suburb named after the local paper mill. You’ll be able to find a large central park here as well as an arboretum, a number of stunning churches, and plenty more!
- Benton City
Wikipedia Be sure to stop by one of the annual events like the Benton City Daze or Winterfest in this town near Richland with a population near 3,100+! In the distance, you can witness some gorgeous views of the high rolling hills known as Horse Heaven Hills. Other notable landmarks include Brown’s Rock and Kendall Barn.

Despite the current seasonal conditions, the area has plenty of rich wheat farming land and hosts the yearly Big Bend Roundup, including activities like horse racing, bull riding, steer roping, etc.
- Davenport
Flickr / theslowlane The Lincoln County Courthouse is a prominent feature in this friendly town of nearly 1,700. Spokane is roughly an hour away to the east, and you can always make an exciting trip up north to the beautiful Lake Roosevelt Area.

This Clark County area in the rolling hills countryside has a population under 5,000 and presents a welcoming small town ambiance. They also host BirdFest, an annual festival that attracts bird lovers from all over!
- Montesano

Built in 1911, it has a fascinating historical dent on the front door made by a sheriff who’d fired at a fleeing felon, leading to the development of the classic motto “Come on vacation and leave on probation”. Nevertheless, you can still find incredible farming, timber and more here!

At a population just under 2,000, this city in Thurston County was evidently named for its incredible view of our beloved Mount Rainier. You’ll find over eight acres of gorgeous parks to check out in the area, including Wilkowksi Park which hosts the annual bluegrass music festival, Gehrke Park, Holiday Park, and Raintree Park.
