Several towns throughout Wyoming have adopted the Main Street National Program that focuses on revitalizing downtown economic districts, making these sometimes overlooked and run down areas, very appealing. - Rawlins

Its downtown underwent a major transformation, and as a result ended up as the 2015 Great American Main Street Award Winner. A couple of things to check out along Main Street are the Train Depot and the Rawlins Main Street Gallery. Also worthwhile is a stroll through downtown to view the 12 murals that represent the area’s history.
