Montanans tend to be pretty humble, and that’s a good thing, because let’s face it—we do some things, like deal with winter, better than most. When winter hits, most people complain and spend three solid months inside… but not us (for the most part). We (sort of) embrace winter in Montana… because if we didn’t, we’d be miserable for half the year. Here’s why we do winters right in the Treasure State.

- We have incredible and underrated ski resorts.

- We have ice fishing and dog sledding.
