I have a confession to make: there was a time when I didn’t like brunch. There were just too many confusing options. Do I order breakfast? Do I order lunch? Do I skip the whole thing and wait for dinner? It’s taken time, but over the last few years I’ve finally found an appreciation for this special meal.
It’s the perfect thing for people who can’t make up their mind. And, on a Sunday, it’s a great way to begin winding down the weekend and enjoying that last day before the workweek. So, if you are on the fence about brunch, check out these places – listed in no particular order. They just might make you change your mind. They worked for me!

It’s also the kind of place where you can show up for brunch, spend your entire day there and finish the night with cocktails. Somehow they’ve managed to perfect a vibe that makes sense at any time of day. The brunch includes all the usual suspect - from benedicts to pastries to things with mexican flair. It’s a bit loud (lots of room!) and you may have to wait, but give it a shot. If you can’t make it for lunch, grab cocktails in the evening. Actual review of their pastries: “Worth getting fat for.”
