- Old Tonopah Cemetery - Tonopah
flickr/Will Keightley Many guests who have stayed next door at the Clown Motel, (which is quite terrifying in and of itself,) have reported seeing ghosts wander the premises of the Old Tonopah Cemetery. Many of these guests checked out early because of this terrifying experience.
- Piper’s Opera House - Virginia City

Performers have noticed a male entity standing on a ladder while watching them perform. Several ghosts have also been spotted sitting in the balcony seats.
- Yellow Jacket Mine - Gold Hill
flickr/Brent Cooper In 1869, a fire lead to the hauntings at Yellow Jacket Mine. More than 35 miners were killed and not all of the bodies were recovered. According to reports, 11 of the miners stayed behind and now haunt the mine.
- Washoe County Courthouse - Reno
wikipedia Family and Civil Court decisions made at Washoe County Courthouse have lead to devastating outcomes for the losing party. While feeling a sense of hopelessness, defeated entities can still be seen moping around the courthouse property. Inside the courtroom, there have been many reports of apparitions. Several people have also experienced cold spots.

While filming “Dead Man,” Johnny Depp stayed at Mackay Mansion. He saw the ghost of a little girl dressed in white. Others have heard this little girl playing upstairs. A colonel has been seen hanging out in the kitchen, and a lady has been spotted running up and down the stairs.
- Foxridge Park - Henderson
yelp/Micah L. Allegedly, Foxridge Park is haunted by a little boy who was sadly killed by a drunk driver. He enjoys playing on the swing set during the late night hours. According to reports, he prefers swinging alone. If you look him directly in the eyes, he’ll turn into a demon and quickly vanish.
- Silver Terrace Cemetery - Virginia City
flickr/Don Graham At Silver Terrace Cemetery, the gravestones reportedly give off a glowing light during the night. They also move without explanation. Another strange thing that happens at this cemetery is the gates will often open and close on their own.
- Goldfield Hotel - Goldfield

One of the ghosts is a woman who hanged herself, and another one is a man who jumped to his death while staying at the hotel. There’s also a ghost known as “The Stabber” because it randomly attacks hotel guests with a kitchen knife. Yikes!
- Grimes Point - Fallon

She slashed her wrists in the bathtub in Room 11 and now wanders the hotel while frightening guests by tapping on their doors. Many guests have also reported hearing jingling doorknobs, sudden bangs and voices in vacant rooms.
