It’s hard to be North Dakotan – there’s so much greatness here and yet we tend to be too polite to brag about it. We know where credit should be given when credit is due, however, and when it comes to everything from what we produce to how we dance, we take pride in our accomplishments. Here are 11 things we definitely do better than everyone else.
- Owning cars

Potato Bowl USA Every year the Simplot French Fry Feed in Grand Forks smashes world records at most french fries made and eaten in one gathering. We’re talking over 5,000 pounds of french fries! I’d say that’s enough to go with the massive Rutland burger.
- Racing lawn mowers

- Wildlife conservation
USFWS/Flickr North Dakota has the most wildlife refuges out of any state, and through responsible hunting practices we are on top of wildlife conservation.
