Spring will be here in just a week and warmer weather is on the way. I absolutely cannot wait to get outside and enjoy all the beauty New Jersey has to offer. We can head out and hike, bike, boat, and best of all, dine. Outdoor dining is one of my favorite things, and I’m not just talking about picnics. New Jersey has some incredible options when it comes to rooftop dining, many of which offer scenic views of our stunning shoreline.

  1. Daddy O, Brant Beach

Tripadvisor/Management Daddy O is a full service restaurant, rooftop bar, and boutique hotel. The rooftop bar not only offers drinks, but serves light fare. It was recently named one of the top 10 rooftop bars in the United States by The Daily Meal. During the summer, it’s a great sushi spot.

  1. Ventura’s Greenhouse, Margate City

Image/Ventura’s Greenhouse Enjoy food, drinks, and a great view of Lucy the Elephant, not to mention sweeping panoramas of the Atlantic Ocean.

  1. Boardwalk Bar And Grill, Point Pleasant

Facebook/Reef & Barrel Formerly the famous Edgar’s Pub, Reef & Barrel recently opened a rooftop dining area. The scene is spectacular but the rooftop menu is limited.

  1. Chelsea Hotel, Atlantic City

Facebook/Chelsea Hotel Technically this is a rooftop pool, but here’s something you may not know - if you score a private cabana, you can order from the full menu of Dining on 5th.

Are you ready for food with a view? These outdoor dining spots are all opening up for the season, so check them out. While they’re not all full service restaurants, they’re great places to get your food fix while enjoying elevated atmospheres.
