Maybe you’ve walked the boardwalk in Ocean City or spent a weekend of fun in Dewey Beach or done the drive down to Virginia Beach. But you may not know that there are a few hidden beaches not that far from DC that are incredible! Make a trip to one of these lesser known beaches near DC this summer.

There’s half a mile of beautiful sand, a 200-foot fishing pier, a playground, beach volleyball court shaded areas, picnic tables and grills. You can also camp nearby!

- North Beach
