Springtime in Oklahoma is one of my favorite seasons (minus the tornadoes). The weather is beautiful, the flowers are blooming and the mosquitoes haven’t quite yet made their debut. Gardens are the perfect place to go when you’re looking for picturesque beauty. From the smell of fresh flowers to the bold colors of nature, gardens offer a sense of serenity you can’t find anywhere else. While some of these might not be so hidden, these 8 gardens are worth visiting this spring.
- Tulsa Botanic Garden, Tulsa

Head eight miles northwest of downtown Tulsa to the 170-acre botanic garden currently under development. The garden is celebrating spring with over 100,000 bulbs blooming into beautiful flowers. The walk around the grounds is easy, relaxing and a must-visit.
