One of the best parts of fall in West Virginia is spending some time on the farm. These eight farms have impressive corn mazes and other fun activities to celebrate the season!
- Byrnside Branch Corn Maze
Byrdside Branch Farm/Facebook Byrnside has an impressive 10 acre maze that you can navigate in the daytime or in the dark. They also have a smaller 2 acre maze. You can also take a hayride or pick your own pumpkin. Address: 170 Byrnside Branch Road. Union, West Virginia 24983.
- Old McDonald’s Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

- Gritt’s Farm
Gritt’s Farm Gritt’s Farm will have Fun Farm Days with corn mazes, playgrounds, apple cannons, hayrides, and more. Address: 356 Gritt Road, Buffalo, WV 25033.
- Town & Country Nursery
Town & Country Nursery There isn’t much info yet for 2016, but Town & Country usually has a corn maze and hayride during October. They also have a 5 acre pumpkin patch. Address: 1885 Darke Ln, Kearneysville, West Virginia.
- Ridgefield Farm and Orchard
Ridgefield Farm and Orchard Ridgefield has a corn maze, hayrides, and a pumpkin patch. You can also get freshly made apple cider! Address: 414 Kidwiler Road, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425.
- Okes Family Farms
Okes Family Farms Admission is $7 and kids under 5 are free. Admission includes your wagon ride, getting lost in the corn maze, riding the tractor train, crawling through the hay tunnel, seeing the animals, playing in the corn box, rubber ducky races, the spider web net, and the all new 100 ft slide. Address: 614 Blue Jay 6 Rd, Cool Ridge, WV 25825
- Green Acres Farm and Greenhouses
Green Acres Farm and Greenhouses Green Acres Farm has both a daytime corn maze and a nighttime haunted corn maze. The farm is Located in Rock Cave, Upshur County. 2 miles passing the game farm if you’re coming from Buckhannon. It is the very first turn to the left passing Rock Cave Elementary school (71 Fish Hawk Drive).
- Cooper Family Farms
Cooper Family Farms Cooper Family Farms has a corn maze with an important message this year! They also have zip lines, a corn crib crawl, campfires, and a pumpkin patch. At night there is a haunted maze. Parking is behind school Milton Middle School. School address: #1 Panther Trail, Milton, WV 25541.
Most of the farms are operating their fall activities on weekends only, so check the hours before you go.
