Some of my favorite sights in Georgia aren’t found in the biggest attractions, but instead are found in the small towns of Georgia. These towns have views so perfect, you couldn’t make this stuff up! These eight small towns in Georgia are picture perfect:

  1. Norwood, GA

Neal Wellons via Flickr Norwood is a tiny town of less than 300 people in Warren County. This old rusted barn in Norwood is a picture perfect Georgia country scene.

  1. Pine Mountain, GA

Vicki Deloach via Flickr Beautiful Pine Mountain is the perfect place for a picnic or a slow walk through the flowers in Callaway Gardens.

  1. Meansville, GA

Neal Wellons via Flickr Meansville is another tiny town that’s located in Pike County. This small town doesn’t even hold 200 residents. This unique picture of the depot in Meansville is breathtaking.

  1. Rome, GA

Allen Forrest via Flickr Rome is spectacularly beautiful. The small town feel that Rome gives off feels amazing with their old buildings, and quaint small town fixtures.

  1. St. Marys, GA

Thomas Wolff via Flickr St. Mary’s is one of the most beautiful small towns in Georgia. This small coastal town has a unique feel that cannot be found anywhere else in Georgia!

  1. Darien, GA

Evangelio Gonzalez via Flickr Darien is located conviently between Savannah and Jacksonville, Florida. It is also a central location for visitors to the Golden Isles. On top of all that, it’s a really pretty place to see the shrimping boats on the Altamaha River.

  1. St. Simons Island, GA

  1. Blue Ridge, GA

mikehipp via Flickr Blue Ridge is Georgia’s favorite mountain town and I can certainly see why. Mountains aren’t the only sights to see in this town; the beautiful lake and pastures deserve recognition too!
