As a refugee resettlement city, Buffalo is proud to help others feel welcomed by providing several programs and initiatives. Buffalo Irish Festival - Facebook Buffalo hosts a mean St. Patrick’s Day parade, but that isn’t the only chance for Buffalo Irish to celebrate their heritage. Join thousands of your closest Irish friends at the Outer Harbor from August 25-27.

Dyngus Day Buffalo - Facebook Are you still recovering from your Dyngus Day festivities? This is one of the biggest celebrations in Buffalo, held the Monday after Easter in South Buffalo.

Nickel City Smokers - Facebook Fresh, homemade hummus and falafel? Sign us up! The Lebanese Festival is celebrating its 18th year this summer, and you can join in the festivities on July 28th at 2040 Wehrle Drive in Williamsville. Come hungry!

Macedonian Festival Buffalo - Facebook Traditional Macedonian food, music, dance groups, cultural exhibits, and more await at the 25th annual Macedonian Festival! Check it out at 4785 Lake Avenue in Blasdell from July 10-12.

Buffalo Greek Fest - Facebook “Become Greek for a day” at the Buffalo Greek Fest, hosted by the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Enjoy traditional Greek food and dance, church tours, and special cultural exhibits from June 2-4 at 146 West Utica.

  1. Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade

Facebook/Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade of WNY Take your Puerto Rican and Hispanic pride to the streets at the Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade! This year marks the 15th annual parade, held on August 18-19th. The celebrations start with a flag-raising ceremony and live music and food on the 18th, followed by the parade from the steps of City Hall on the 19th.

  1. Taste of Diversity

Jamie T. - Yelp The Taste of Diversity is held on Grant Street on June 24th. This festival gives you an opportunity to try authentic cuisine from around the world, featuring vendors from Burma, Colombia, Iraq, Liberia, Poland, Puerto Rico, Sudan, and more!
