- China Beach - 490 Sea Cliff Ave, San Francisco, 94121
Joanna L/Yelp Not as popularity as Baker Beach, but more exclusive and just as beautiful. This is the only San Francisco Beach that is suitable for swimming, however don’t expect warm water. Also, take the time to appreciate the views.
- Crissy Field/East Beach - North Edge Of Crissy Field, San Francisco, 94123
Casey O/Yelp This beach is referred to as either East or Crissy Beach. This area is a tidal marsh with bridges, and a long, sandy beach that you can enter on warmer days if you brave. Also, there are sand dunes,and a paved segment of the San Francisco Bay Trail.

- Parkside Aquatic Park - 1097 Seal Ct, San Mateo, 94497
Jessica G/Yelp Near San Francisco, this area is great for swimming and relaxing. This small park has a sandy swimming beach with somewhat tranquil water and no waves. Beware, this is a salt water swimming area.

Tri P/Yelp Very close to the city, and better yet you get a sandy beach in the Bay Area. The water is warmer than what you get in the city and shallow, so you can swim with ease. This is an ideal spot for a day trip from the city.

- Keller Beach - 900 Dorman Dr, Knox Regional Park, Richmond, 94801
Endy C/Yelp Keller Beach is in Point Richmond, and it is on a huge park on the San Francisco Bay. There is a hidden cove with a swimmable beach, however there are no lifeguards on duty.
- Tomalas State Park - 1100 Pierce Point Rd, Inverness, 94937
Ann S/Yelp There are a couple beaches here that will dazzle. Tomales is the most pleasant place to go swimming in the area. The water is warm and the foggy views are gorgeous. This beach gets quite crowded though in the Summer.
