Especially unique, this building is a bank turned coffee shop. The original bank was First National Bank of Dakota and it was established in 1881, giving perfect inspiration for the shop’s name.

It also is unique in that Laura is a 2012 high school graduate with Down syndrome. Her goal in working full time at the shop is to show that those with disabilities aren’t as limited as most people believe. Laura’s Lattes is truly a gem in this small SD town.
