Authorities have updated the list of Ohio’s most-wanted sex offenders with five new fugitives.
Listed amongst the so-called “Agonizing 8,” the recapture of these criminals is a top priority for the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force. The public is asked to be aware, and report any sightings of the following sex offenders to the police immediately. Read on for more information about these dangerous criminals.

Flickr/Carlos Javier Stephan Pittman was convicted of sexual assault in 2009 and relocated to Cleveland after his release from prison, but failed to register as a sex offender. He has been eluding police since February of 2014, and is thought to have left the Cleveland area. He has family in New York and Maryland. Thomas Park was convicted of gross sexual imposition in 2009, and failed to register as a sex offender in both Ohio and Nevada. Park fled his Las Vegas home without notifying his probation officer, and has connections to the Cleveland area.
Flickr/Jon Dawson Tobi Beatty was convicted of the sexual assault of a victim under 13-years-old in 2009. He failed to register as a sex offender with the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office in New Philadelphia, and his location is currently unknown. Raymond Fenton was convicted of rape in Ottawa County. He has been evading capture since August of 2015 after failing to register as a sex offender in Bowling Green.

He has been on the run for almost two years, and was last living in the Meyers Lake area shortly before his disappearance. He has family in the Cleveland, and may be residing in that area. Sherman Jackson is wanted for six counts of rape involving a child younger than 13. Investigators believe he may be living in Northeast Ohio, and has ties to Warren and East Cleveland. Jackson is known to seek work with church groups that involve young children.
Flickr/Jack Pearce Dennis “Rusty” Nagle is wanted in Youngstown for failing to register as a sex offender after he sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl. For that crime, he received five years of community control. In 2009, Nagle served time in prison for failing to notify police of his change of address. He has been on the run since 2010.Juan Plass is wanted for the rape of a 20-year-old woman in 2003. Plass fled after police interviewed him in connection to the rape, and has not been seen since. He is believed to have fled to Puerto Rico, where family are believed to have lied about Plass’ death in order to conceal his whereabouts.
The U.S. Marshals Service advises that all of the “Agonizing 8” should be considered dangerous, and civilians are not to approach these men.
