Life is short. Eat bacon. That’s the motto for Kannapolis restaurant Crispy’s Bar and Grill, and well I’d have to say I agree. Sure the juicy, rich, and hearty breakfast side had its moment in the spotlight a couple of years ago, it proved it was more than just an accompaniment to eggs and grits; it’s a staple that deserves to overtake restaurants, Bloody Marys, and even be featured in every. Single. Menu. Item. Bacon-themed restaurant? Well, we have that here in North Carolina.
Yelp / Scotty S. The appropriately named Crispy’s tries to not just get delicious but inventive with the various bacon dishes served at the restaurant.

Facebook / Crispy’s Bar and Grill Crispy’s features a variety of bacon-themed menu items, but the ‘bacon-wrapped’ everything…from southwestern egg rolls to sandwiches, is where they really thrive. Crispy’s even got a mention on Travel Channel’s Food Paradise. Pictured above - bacon wrapped spaghetti and meatballs. I must say, I’ve NEVER thought about eating spaghetti and meatballs a la bacon, but that looks downright delicious.
Facebook / Crispy’s Bar and Grill The menu features a wide variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and specialties. Appetizers include bacon wrapped cheese sticks, buffalo bacon bombs, chik’n waffle crispers, and pork belly chili cheese and bacon nachos.
Facebook / Crispy’s Bar and Grill Oh, and at this point you’re probably wondering…what about bacon-themed drinks? Can’t miss out on a classic bacon Bloody Mary made with one of the restaurant’s draft options.
Facebook / Crispy’s Bar and Grill If you like sandwiches and bacon, obviously you’re in luck. Sandwich items include a classic angus bacon burger, a piggy panini, chili cheese bacon wrapped hot dog, a monster B.L.T (would expect nothing less, to be honest), and the bellydamgoud grilled cheese. Of course they also like to change it up with daily specials utilizing new ways to enjoy the crispy treat. Specialties include a bacon wrapped shrimp n’ grits, bacon fried country chicken, chicken bacon alfredo and bacon crusted flounder. One of the best parts is that while the food is creative and delicious, the restaurant is also decently priced (with specialties ranging from $10-$12) allowing you to try a bit of everything this bacon utopia has to offer.
Yelp / Heather W If you or someone in your family loves bacon, this is the perfect place to go for a night of ‘pigging’ out.
Are you craving a sinfully delicious bacon-wrapped anything at this point? I know I am! Have you been here before?
