The preserve’s 23,000 acres include bayous, swamps, and marshes and you’re sure to see alligators, nutria, rabbits, turtles, and over 200 species of birds. Perfect place to stargaze while listening to the crashing waves. You can find Holly Beach in Cameron, Louisiana, drive along Gulf Beach Hwy.

There’s also a parallel equestrian trail so you can ride your horse! There’s multiple trail heads so you can access the Trace from multiple points.
