Fall is in the air, which means lots of apples, cider and the tradition of finding your way out of a corn maze. Forcing oneself to become lost certainly seems like a strange way to spend an afternoon, but it’s definitely one of the most fun to do with family and friends. Here are a few places with some great corn mazes in Maine. Once you’ve made it out, you should treat yourself to a cup of apple cider and a doughnut!

Visitors will follow clues to find their way out, but if you’re not a good clue-follower, don’t fret. This maze is fairly easy for everyone. And, all those who take a chance in the maze will finish with free ice cream! Entry is $8 for adults and $7 for children. The fun really kicks up on October 22nd when the night maze takes place. The orchard promises that it’s not meant to be scary and all will have fun.

This year the maze celebrates the Maine chapter of United Farmer Veterans, which supports veterans wanting to farm in the state. Come visit to give the maze a try and you’ll have the opportunity to speak with veteran advocacy groups who will be at the maze sharing the work they do to support the state of Maine and veterans in our communities. Entry is $8, which includes parking, a free hayride, petting zoo with farm animals, an obstacle course and corn box.

Thunder Road Farm Corn Maize / Facebook This challenging corn maze focuses on a specific theme each year. You can visit every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6 pm through October 27th. Entry is $8.00 per person, which includes access to the maze, the play area, hay ride, jumping pillow, and one ride on the cow train.

Entry is $9 per person, which includes access to all farm activities. Come on Fridays for a slight discount of $7 per person between 9am and 2pm.
