While many people have experienced strange things while visiting this cemetery, the spirit of a woman sitting on tombstones is who you’ll most commonly run into.

- St. Louis Cemetery, Louisiana

The cemetery is home to the final resting place of Marie Laveau, well-known for practicing Voodoo and tends to draw in many visitors here. Many believe that Laveau’s spirit still haunts her grave, and with 700 other tombs within this cemetery, there are many other spirits that are supposedly lingering around here. Pictured above, you can see Gracie who died at the mere age of six from pneumonia. Those who have visited Bonaventure Cemetery have claimed to see Gracie’s statue cry tears of blood, a chilling sight to imagine.

Known as one of the bloodiest battles in our history, it comes as no surprise that there are many stories involving the spirits of soldiers inside this Pennsylvania park. - Boothill Graveyard, Arizona

Visitors who have been brave enough to explore here have stories of spirits showing up in photographs or even seeing evil spirits that unfortunately do not seem friendly, at all. - Hollywood Forever Cemetery, California

Out of all of the famous people who have taken this visually appealing graveyard as their final resting place, Rudolph Valentino is the spirit that is claimed to be seen wandering around the most! If you aren’t familiar with Valentino, he was an actor who unexpectedly died at the age of 31 in 1926, breaking the hearts of girls all across America.

- Howard Street Cemetery, Massachusetts

In the late 1600’s during the Salem Witch Trials, a prosperous farmer by the name of Giles Corey was accused of being a warlock. Tortured to death, Corey has been said to still haunt the surrounding areas of Howard Street Cemetery and also the local sheriffs.

- Stull Cemetery, Kansas

Right next to the cemetery lies an abandoned church that is the center of many local legends and strange stories about Stull Cemetery. Long told, you’ll hear stories of people visiting here and having strange things happen to them like feeling as though they’ve been grabbed when no one is around, or even local stories about the Pope refusing to fly over this haunted and demonic piece of land. Creepy, huh?
