From the majestic redwoods, one of the west coast’s most iconic salmon runs, and California’s largest native tribe, this small town represents the West Coast at its finest. Not to be confused with the Falls in Oregon, the town of Klamath in the far reaches of Northern California brings together the best of the Northwest in an originally Northern California style.
Klamath is located just south of Crescent City and north of nearly everything else in California.

The town of Klamath is also the heart of Yurok Country and the home of California’s largest Native American tribe. Spend some time at the Yurok Country Visitor Center, which was built to educate visitors about the thriving and incredible culture of the Yuroks.

Spend at least one day exploring the nearby attractions that are quintessentially west coast, such as the giant Klamath Tour Thru Tree.
