Washington is part of a wonderful country, and there’s nothing quite like celebrating our freedom every July. Here are 15 of the several places across our region where you can catch some mind-blowing fireworks for Independence Day this year.

The city’s biggest display will be held at Gas Works Park this year, on July 4 around 10:00pm.

  1. Bainbridge Island, Arnold Jackson Memorial Fireworks Show

This beautiful display on Bainbridge can be seen over Eagle Harbor at dusk on the 4th.

  1. Ocean Shores, Fire O’er the Water

  1. Oak Harbor, 4th Oh July

Oak Harbor Chamber In honor of Oak Harbor’s Centennial, this year’s display will be the largest Oak Harbor has ever had! You definitely won’t want to miss it.

  1. Ellensburg, Daily Record Fourth of July

  1. Chelan, Rockin Fireworks Display

Chelan’s bright display will literally rock your world. It will be going on this year July 3rd from 10:00pm - 10:45pm.

  1. Washougal, 4th of July Fireworks

Washougal may be a tiny town, but they put on one exciting display for the Fourth. It will be held at Marina Park/Port of Camas-Washougal on July 4 at 10pm.

  1. Tacoma, Tacoma Freedom Fair

Flickr / 30709234@N02 Tacoma will be holding an exciting display down by the Ruston Way Waterfront. It’s planned for July 4th, from 10am until the fireworks end around 10:30pm.

  1. Kennewick, River of Fire Festival

Near the Tri-Cities? Check out this patriotic celebration at Columbia Park on July 4 from 12:00pm - 10:30pm.

  1. Grand Coulee, Festival of America

Grand Coulee Dam Area This event by the Grand Coulee will be going down on July 3rd & 4th, at the park below the Grand Coulee Dam Visitors Center around 10:35pm.

  1. Sammamish, Fourth on the Plateau

  1. Pasco, Grand Ole 4th Celebration

Pasco This Tri-Cities event will be starting on July 3 with the Dust Devils Baseball Game at GESA Stadium. It then follows up on July 4 with a delightful pancake breakfast at Memorial Park, family fun activities, a parade, and, of course - one incredible fireworks display to top it all off.

  1. Spokane, 4th of July Celebration

Spokane’s famous Riverfront Park will be hosting a glorious display on the 4th at dusk. Check out the huge Radio Flyer Wagon while you’re there!

  1. Mercer Island, Summer Celebration & Fireworks

Mercer Island will be putting on their fireworks at Luther Burbank Park this year, on July 11 & 12, starting around 10:15pm.

Washington’s “Little Norway” will be holding a striking display over the beautiful Liberty Bay on July 3 at 10:15pm. You can sit back and enjoy the view from Anderson Parkway and Waterfront Park!
