June is finally here! And with the arrival of our first summer month comes the joy of having some of our favorite seasonal destinations open back up for the year. A place you’ll want to keep in mind for those days when you’re growing tired of your backyard pool, this hidden water park in the Finger Lakes will make any summer day a memorable one.

The largest water park in the Finger Lakes, Roseland Waterpark at the top of Canandaigua Lake opens up for the year on June 24th.

Offering a variety of family-fun attractions, the water park has something for everyone to enjoy.

Known for being the most popular spot in the park, Roseland’s giant Wave Pool spans across 27,000 square feet.

Different from other water parks, this relaxing getaway actually has heated water so you won’t have to worry about any ice cold temperatures unpleasantly shocking you to your core.

Aside from exciting slides like The Hurricane, The Screamer and The Tornado, the park also features one slide that will give you the thrill you’re looking for.

Climb the stairs to the top of The Cliff and before you slide straight down 65 feet you’ll have a marvelous view of the park and surrounding area.

With something for everyone, the Splash Factory provides smile inducing fun for our smaller visitors. A water wonderland that has six small slides, water cannons and even a thousand gallon bucket that dumps water every minute!

But if you find yourself too tired out from the heat and uninterested in hair-raising slides, you’ll want to check out the park’s most relaxing ride.

Something that the entire family can enjoy together, the Adventure River allows guests to unwind in the sun.

Where you’ll be able to take in views of the remote landscape, while you’re floating down Adventure River you’ll also pass by Victorian fountains that will catch your eye.

Running around the water park to experience all there is to see will have you working up an appetite. Luckily the park has the Roseland Cafe where you can fuel up on food, snacks and ice cream!
