According to CountyHealthRankings.org, these are the top most healthy parishes in the state. The rankings include a variety of factors, from quality of life to health care providers to pollution and environmental factors.

  1. La Salle Parish

facebook.com/lasallegeneral While somewhat lower in other areas, La Salle stood out on this ranking by coming in at number 1 for quality of life rankings, including poor or fair health, poor mental health day and low birthweight.

  1. Vermillion Parish

  1. Bossier Parish

  1. St. Charles Parish
