There’s nothing better on a hot summer day than ice cream.  The good news is, Missouri has a multitude of yummy choices.  While they are not all technically “ice cream” (some are custard or yogurt), you really can’t go wrong.  Ice Cream?  Yes, please.

Facebook/ Central Dairy Central Dairy in Jefferson City has been featured on many “best of” lists of ice cream in Missouri. You will have a really tough time deciding among the huge variety of flavors! Located at 610 Madison St.

Facebook/ Andy’s Frozen Custard While Andy’s is not exclusive to Missouri (they have locations in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Illinois), they are headquartered in Springfield. Try one of their seasonal concretes!

Facebook/ Braum’s Ice Cream and Dairy Stores Braum’s is also all over the place with locations not only in Missouri but also found in Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, and Arkansas. If you haven’t tried it, you should. Springfield has five locations.
