If there’s one thing we know as New York residents, it’s that there’s no better place to be in the summer than the Finger Lakes. During our warmest months there’s nothing like spending a day by or on the water, soaking up the sun and taking full advantage of the fact that we can be outside without having heinous amounts of layers on to stay warm. Located right on the southern shores of Keuka Lake, you’ll find a wonderfully charming town that’s perfect for a summer day trip:

If you aren’t familiar with the Finger Lakes Region, Keuka Lake is the lake that people describe as resembling a Y or Wishbone shape. Found out between Seneca and Canandaigua Lakes, this remote area is filled with nothing but scenic views and small town charm. The small area was founded back in 1827 and now has a population of under one thousand residents.
