New York, where beautiful waterfalls are almost always just a stone’s throw away. With the end of camping season sneaking up on us, we’ve been trying to sneak in as many weekend getaways as we possibly can. If you’re looking to find the ultimate camping location that has waterfalls, beautiful hiking trails, a swimming area, and gorgeous gorges, then we’ve found the next state park for you to cross off of your bucket list.

Pack your bags and grab the GPS, we’re headed to a magical waterfall campground in New York that’s simply unforgettable:

Waiting to be explored, you can find Robert H. Treman State Park out in Tompkins County.

The state park features nearly 10-miles of hiking trails.

Most of the trails you’ll find are roughly 2-miles long and will give you stunning views of the waterfalls throughout the park.

Make your way to the lower area of the park and you’ll discover the campground!

The state park has just over 70 campgrounds, with a variety of tent and RV sites as well as cabins that are available!

Also right by where you’ll be camping, a playground!
