Most out-of-town visitors make their way to the Capital Region to check out all there is to be see in Albany. But what about the cities in the surrounding area that you might be less familiar with? Just a quick drive from our state’s capital, the city of Troy is one you won’t want to overlook.
Sitting right on the Hudson River, the city of Troy is one that many consider to be one of New York’s greatest urban treasures.

Troy is equipped with Brown’s Brewing Company. A place where you’ll not only find delicious independently brewed beer but also out-of-this-world food!

C W./Yelp Sure it’s nice to find a local pub where you can not only grab a drink but also some good tasting food. But at Brown’s? It’s a different story. Some of us (myself included) are guilty of visiting here only for the food! It’s that good. From the popular Brown’s Beer Pretzel that you’ll see on almost every table in the joint to loaded nachos that look like a small colorful mountain of tasty goodness, the menu is one that will leave you feeling indecisive.
