The National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center via Flickr Columbus is home to the National Infantry Museum, which is located just outside of Fort Benning. This museum details the history of the U.S. infantryman from the American Revolution all the way to the war in Afghanistan. This great attraction is actually one of Georgia’s free museums.
