There’s never a better time to explore New York than right now. One of our favorite things to do while traveling is to discover charming small towns we never knew existed. With the seasons changing, we’ve been frequently daydreaming about where we’ll sneak away to next. Out in Cattaraugus County, you’ll stumble upon a small town that has a population of less than four hundred residents. As someone who graduated from high school with roughly nine hundred other individuals, small towns with numbers like these intrigue me!
A highly underrated area of our state, here’s why everyone who’s reading this should take a trip to Ellicottville:

The adventure park features an aerial course made up of bridges and platforms that you’ll explore. If you’re afraid of heights you can either sit this part of the getaway out or face your fears with friends and family! Our favorite part of the park? The Sky Flyer Mountain Coaster. This nearly 5,000 foot long roller coaster that’s built into the mountain is one of the most fun rides you’ll ever experience! Originating from Buffalo, you can find these tasty treats in town at Watson’s Chocolates! Another thing, this place has pure milk chocolate buffalo wings. Yum!
