Recently we wrote about one of our favorite trails to explore in New York, the Finger Lakes Cheese Trail. Bringing you out around Cayuga and Seneca Lake, you’ll find yourself passing a ton of stunning attractions along this route. One of them being? The Lively Run Dairy Farm and Creamery! A perfect addition to this adventure, you’ll want to make a point to take a trip to these particular cheese farm.
Right in between stops 4 & 5 on New York’s Ultimate Cheese Trail, Lively Run Dairy can be found out in Seneca County.
Google Maps To be more specific, the farm can be found between Crosswinds Farm & Creamery in Ovid and Kenton’s Cheese Company in Trumansburg! If you decide to add this stop onto the Cheese Trail, your driving time won’t even change! It’s right on the way and the perfect place to visit.
Tucked away in the teensy tiny town of Interlaken, the farm has been creating unforgettable cheese since 1982.

And Lively Run is actually one of the longest operating commercial goat dairies in our country!
